Sidelined AIADMK pioneer TTV Dhinakaran said on Monday that gathering pioneer and his close relative V K Sasikala has looked for a 15-day parole to meet her husband M Natarajan.
Natarajan, experiencing treatment at a corporate hospital here for a liver issue, was “stable” and was anticipating liver transplantation, Dhinakaran told reporters here.
“We have applied for the parole of ‘General Secretary’ (Sasikala). She will get permission without a doubt. The (Karnataka) Prisons Department will choose the days the parole will be given for,” he said.
Asked how long Sasikala had applied for, Dhinakaran said her “advocate has said she needed 15 days”.
At present held up in Parappana Agrahara imprison in Bengaluru, Sasikala was indicted and condemned to a four-year jail term in the Rs 66.6-crore disproportionate assets case.
Natarajan has been experiencing treatment at the corporate healing facility for as long as few days.
